SimCinema 3000

SimCinema 3000 is a remake of Sim Cinema Deluxe 2.5 by Shannon Schroeder, a classic Mac OS text-based game that puts you in the seat of a Hollywood producer! Make movies, hire your crew and have your dream projects become huge blockbusters, sleeper hits or the next big bomb everyone's piling on.

The game maintains all of its original features, updated for in-browser play on both desktop and mobile. All of the classic sounds are preserved too. It was put together in a weekend with Codex using 6.1 Sol on Medium and polished up using a MacBook Neo.

I hope anyone who has ever played this game enjoys the product, and I hope the fun I had as a kid playing the original can reach a new generation. I'm planning on making a modern mode that includes an updated Box Office, Cast & Crew, and a few new QoL features. Original gameplay will always be preserved in a Classic mode. Stay tuned!
